Digging deep into our bag of tricks, Velope dusted off its 3D skills and studied up on the Amazon Fire Phone’s unique and differentiating 3D SDK (codename Euclid). If you haven’t seen the Fire Phone’s Dynamic Perspective capability, you really need to. It makes the screen much like a portal to the 3D worlds and objects that it renders. Flixster as usual went all out and demanded a full 3D version of their popcorn bucket. A great challenge for our initial effort. Telefonica was less demanding but asked us to make 9 separate icons for a small subset of the entire O2 catalog. We all agreed to the large success of these efforts in the quick turn around times, high fidelity, and cost conscious approach.
